La Grande Jatte
A chance conversation about a random topic led to a collaboration between Kino Knits and the Yarnover Truck. It’s one of the things I love about knitting – that spontaneous interactions can lead to real community.
Designed for the Yarnover Truck Happiness Gradient Club yarn inspired by George Seurat’s, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,” this pattern features parasols and increasingly frequent yarn overs (get it?) in honor of the painting’s status as one of the most famous examples of pointillism. This is also a great shawl for someone who loves thunderstorms!
