Hello to GISgrl (Ravelry link)! That's Kelsi, living in Iowa, who just test-knit my new Elevate hat design. If you haven’t already done so, please say hello in the Kino Knits Ravelry group Introduce Yourself thread (Ravelry link)!
The Kino Knits E-Book (Ravelry link) (Payhip link) is a collection of five hats in varied weights, all written for eight sizes from preemie to giant adult. Hats will be released on a staggered basis. When you buy the collection, new patterns will automatically add to your Ravelry library or Payhip downloads on the following schedule:
- July 25: Elevate (fingering weight) (Ravelry link) (Payhip link)
- August 15: Extemporize (sport weight)
- September 12: Elicit (DK weight)
- October 24: Elucidate (worsted weight)
- November 14: Enunciate (aran weight)
Newsletter subscribers can get Elevate for 50% off through August 1, 2020. (You'll get a coupon code for Ravelry and Payhip in a welcome email.)
The entire E-Book collection is $5 with Ravelry or Payhip coupon code EXTRA - but the price will go up by $2 with the release of each hat. Click here to apply the Ravelry coupon code automatically.
Cloudstrike (Ravelry link) (Payhip link) (LoveCrafts link) is a lightning-fast single-skein worsted cowl designed for the Queen City Yarn July 2020 Studio Series subscription. A lightning strike creates bold visual lines, meaning this cowl can handle any dye job – be it solid, variegated, worsted, or self-striping.
What test knitters had to say:
- “I liked the rhythm of the pattern and it was kept interesting by the lightning bolt emerging and developing throughout.”
- “Nice in car/waiting room project. Easy to pick up and put down and remember where you are in the pattern.”
- “It’s a very enjoyable pattern to knit and would make a lovely gift.”
Cloudstrike is 30% through 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, August 8, 2020 - no coupon code required. Subscribers to the Kino Knits newsletter will receive a 50% off coupon code for the same time period, good for Ravelry or Payhip.
