June 2020 profits from the sales of Kino Knits self-published patterns will go to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which “is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society.”

The Knitting on Safari Collection is live! This collection features:

If you buy before all the patterns are available, they will automatically pop into your Ravelry library as they are released on the dates listed above.

Kits for the Nairobi Adventures shawl will be available in a couple different colorway options from Beachy Breeze Fibers. Get 15% off with code SAFARI15. Thank you to Sam from Beachy Breeze Fibers for dyeing and providing the custom colorways for my Nairobi Adventures sample!

Since filming the video below, I have blocked it, seamed it, sewn in plastic mesh for structure, and attached the handle. Still need to sew a fabric lining and sew that in.

As of May 31, 2020, I’ve spun 79 days out of my total goal of 200 for 2020.

#sistersheepspin – about to fill 6th bobbin. Will ply when I fill 9.

Unwind Yarn Company BFL/Nylon Lush 3-ply – spinning for socks on Electric Eel Mini wheel.
